Session Audition Workshops

The audition workshop will be held in Highlands Ranch on August 3rd from 4:30-6 PM at Living Way Fellowship Church ( 345 E Wildcat Reserve Pkwy; Highlands Ranch, CO 80126).  Please enter through the back of the church, through the basketball court. DO NOT ENTER OR EXIT THROUGH THE HANDPRINTS PRESCHOOL ENTRANCE. Thank you!!

The workshop at Dakota Ridge (11455 W. Belleview Ave; Littleton 80127) will be held in September. Check back for date.

This optional workshop is available to all students (ages 8-18) registered and paid for the fall 2010 session. This workshop is designed help develop good auditioning skills. Please bring a 1-minute monologue & a 1-minute song piece (with accompaniment CD if you wish) to perform for directors and peers. You will receive feedback while you practice your planned audition. If you do not have these items pick out yet, please come for ideas and places to search.

Sign-Ups for August 10th (Christmas Carol) & August 12th (Aladdin) in Highlands Ranch & the September Dakota Ridge audition times will be available at the workshop. These time slots will begin starting at 4:30 PM, every 45 minutes. If you are unable to attend the workshop, please email Christine Kinsman to request an audition time. These times slots will be assigned following the workshop at 6:30. You will be emailed a confirmation with the assigned time.

Auditions:

Each Audition for StageLight and SpotLight will consist of a prepared and memorized monlogue and song no more than one minute long. Please bring your accompaniment music a CD or iPod. Families may sit in on their child's audition. You will be asked to step out during the dance audition portion.

NightLight Auditions will consist of telling a favorite joke and singing a song from the show in small groupings. Auditions for this group will be the first day of class. No parents or friends will be admitted to these auditions. These auditions will take place during the first mandatory parnet meeting.
