Audience of One Youth Theater families collected non-perishable items and toys for David Clifton’s ministry, Jesus to the World. On December 19, 2009, Ao1 families joined David Clifton and other volunteers in downtown Denver to wrap gifts for the poor and homeless. Volunteers arrived at 10 AM to huge boxes of donated toys! Working continuously until 4 PM, volunteers finally finished wrapping the last toy! It was overwhelming the number of toys donated by families and local businesses to help make Christmas a little brighter for those less fortunate.
Many of the Ao1 families and kids were able to help pick out gifts for the needy families. This gave them a unique perspective of the true meaning of the season. The parents waiting in line for hours were so grateful for the small tokens they were given. The families that were able to participate received much more…they were able to shine the light of “Jesus to the World” and felt His loving hand on their heart.
